Description
Tender Korean BBQ Meatballs with Spicy Mayo Dip are flavorful meatballs that combine the savory taste of Korean BBQ with a spicy mayo dip, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 grams (1 lb) ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown. Alternatively, you can pan-fry them in a skillet over medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy mayo dip. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha until smooth. Adjust the spice level to your liking!
Notes
- For gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- For vegetarian, try using plant-based ground meat.
- Let the meatball mixture sit for about 30 minutes before baking for better flavor.
