Description
A delightful dish that combines sweet and savory flavors with tender salmon marinated in a rich honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of salmon fillets, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Once marinated, thread the salmon cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
- Maple syrup can replace honey for a vegan alternative.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
