Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 60 ml honey
- 60 ml sriracha sauce
- 120 g cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 240 ml vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the cauliflower florets with cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a large bowl until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the honey and sriracha sauce until well combined.
- Drizzle half of the honey sriracha mixture over the coated cauliflower florets and toss to coat.
- Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once baked, drizzle the remaining honey sriracha mixture over the hot cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
- Transfer the bites to a plate and serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to restore crispiness.
- For a vegan option, replace honey with maple syrup.
- For extra crunch, consider air frying the cauliflower bites instead of baking.
