Description
Delicious and fluffy cheesy garlic knots, perfect for parties or as a side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g pizza dough
- 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 100 g melted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1 cm thick. Cut into strips, approximately 2.5 cm wide.
- Take a strip of dough, place a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese at one end, and roll the dough around the cheese to form a knot.
- Place the formed knots on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each knot. Brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the knots with cheese to prevent bursting.
- Ensure the dough is not too thick for even cooking.
- Let the dough rest for a few minutes before shaping for easier handling.
- Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking for maximum flavor.
