Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the seasoned chicken, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and stir to coat evenly. Garnish with fresh parsley and basil before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet over low heat or freeze in a freezer-safe container.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
