Description

BBQ Pulled Salmon Sliders are a delightful twist on traditional sliders, offering a perfect blend of smoky, sweet, and savory flavors with tender, flaky salmon infused with rich BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of salmon fillets
  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  3. Using two forks, shred the baked salmon into bite-sized pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded salmon with BBQ sauce, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half. Spoon the BBQ pulled salmon onto the bottom half of each bun. If desired, top with coleslaw for added crunch. Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store any leftover BBQ pulled salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • To reheat, warm the salmon in the microwave or on the stovetop until heated through.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free buns.
  • For a low-carb option, serve the BBQ pulled salmon in lettuce wraps instead of buns.
