Description
Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect for game days or family gatherings with a smoky, tangy flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs) chicken wings
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken wings by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer and toss them in BBQ sauce. Return them to the air fryer for an additional 5-7 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Notes
- Store wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For reheating, place wings back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
- For freezing, wrap wings tightly in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil; they can be frozen for up to 2 months.
